I am using a canvas app with Dataverse table.

i am trying to get the attachment links and send them in email.

i have used following formulae to retrieve the links once the form is submitted.

Concat(viewform.LastSubmit.Attachments,"<a href="& ThisRecord.AbsoluteUri &">"& ThisRecord.DisplayName&"</a>","<br/>")

i get the name and link but the link is not taking me to the file

this is the link i am getting from the absoluteURI

when I click on this link it says

This page isn’t working

If the problem continues, contact the site owner.

HTTP ERROR 401

the Dataverse table has attachments enabled but there are no file columns.
I am using a form control in my app to submit and attach files from the attachment control.

is there a way we can retrieve the fully working attachment link??

Instead of generating links, retrieve the attachments and include them as actual attachments in the email using Power Automate. Canvas apps alone can’t send file content in emails — but Power Automate can:

    If you use Power Automate:

    • Trigger from the app (e.g., PowerAutomate.Run(...))
    • In the flow, query the annotation records related to your main record
    • Use the documentbody (base64) and mimetype to attach files to the email
Result: User receives email with attachments instead of broken links

    OR

Upload files to SharePoint or Azure Blob and share links. Since Dataverse doesn't generate friendly links, you can:
    • When a file is uploaded, copy it to SharePoint or Azure Blob Storage
    • Then generate a public or authenticated download link
    • Store or generate these links and email them
