Complex Gallery with input limits and Date filtering

Hello everyone, I'm new to the Power Platform and not a traditional developer. I'm just the O365 admin for my organization who saw a business need for one of our departments and started from there. The app so far is fairly straight forward, just a bunch of forms that connect to a SharePoint list for data entry. They had multiple people inputting data into excel at the same time and were constantly losing data. My next need is something a little bit more complex (at least for me) and I could use some guidance if its even possible. I have a SharePoint list that has Name, Address, Date, Item, Account Number, Phone Number, and Charge Total Columns. Basically its for our Sanitation department to schedule pickups for "bulky" items that are scheduled either on Wednesday or Friday.

Here is what I'm envisioning, please let me know if this is possible. It would be a blank screen with a date picker. They would pick either Wednesday or Friday of any given week and that would return items in the Sharepoint list for that day. Im assuming I would use a gallery for this. At that point they would either see data or they wouldn't. If there was a record for them to add then they could edit the gallery in a grid like experience and save the data. They could keep it filtered on that day until they hit a soft limit (would be nice to be able to hard code a way where they could only enter so many rows on a day) and then be able to export that list out to an email/ print to give to the drivers on the routes.

Hopefully that makes sense. I'm really enjoying my time in power apps, but my experience is limited to simple forms. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, All of what you are saying is totallly possible in Powerapps and you are headed the correct direction. excpt whay not carry it forward to the drivers and do a mobile application in powerapps for them save some trees and even gather more data.

I would love to be able to have the drivers log in to the app, but they don't have O365 licenses. We have nearly 400 licensed users and are pretty much at our max when it comes to the budget. I would like to include this in a 311 type app where are street department can get notifications about pot holes or whatever it may be, but we don't have the budget to license all of those people.

Thanks for your reply! I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this aspect of the app, but I hope to get something deployed soon. Do you think this part of the app, more data manipulation, would be better in a model driven app? everything else is primarily data entry and any edits will be made to the lists them selves.
