D365 FFO and Sales integration maintenance

Hello,

We have set up Finance&Operations and D365 Sales integration using CDS: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/data-entities/data-integration-cds

One of the main questions for us is the maintenance of this integration.

Integration project is created in https://admin.powerapps.com and visible only to the owner.

In such case, how it can be maintained when, for example, the person is on vacation?

Is there any possibility to assign other people to the project?

Didn't find anything related to this.

Please share your experience.

I have the same question (0)

One option is to use a service account and create the integration under that

for more control over the integration i recommend using tools like Azure logic apps or SSIS with the kingswaysoft  adapter (kingswaysoft.com). It give you a lot more control over the integration, upsert capabilities using definable logic, and the ability to manage it like any other ssis integration.

I'm not saying that using power apps integration processes is bad, just limited.

also, please review dual write--this is the future, and it enables near real time integration between F&O and CDS.

    Hi @Victor1234,

I had the same experience. There's currently no way to share or change owner of Dataflows. I've been managing Dataflows with a service account as @jlindstrom mentioned. Suggest to submit the idea at https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Apps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas and I'll vote, it's definitely a required feature! Cheers
