I'm trying to set up manual authentication for my PVA bot. We're only using this bot for teams, but I don't want to use 'teams only' authentication because I need access to the auth token.

To do this I've been following the following disjointed documents:

So far I've gotten authentication to work just fine in the bot test sidebar. However, when I attempt to log in via teams, the process silently fails.

As demonstrated here, the topic gets as far as the first message, but then stops without going down either the successful login branch or the 'there was a problem' branch.

I have:

Created an app registration
Added the web platform
Set https://token.botframework.com/.auth/web/redirect as the only redirect link
Enabled access tokens and ID tokens for implicit grant and hybrid flows
Set the application ID URL to api://*****.com.au/botid-905d****-****-****-****-********cee0
- 905d****-****-****-****-********cee0 is the App ID from the Teams channel SSO section
Created a scope Test.Read with admin only consent
Added 5e3ce6c0-2b1f-4285-8d4b-75ee78787346 and 1fec8e78-bce4-4aaf-ab1b-5451cc387264 as valid client IDs
Granted User.Read, User.ReadBasic.All, and Site.Read.All delegated permissions to the app registration with admin consent
Set a client secret
Copied the client ID and secret to the PVA authentication and channel screen as below
