App Checker: Missing tab stop error

Hello Power Apps Community,

I hope you can help please. I have a question.

Every time I create a canvas app, in the App Checker, I get numerous errors for Accessibility.

I click into the errors, and it says: Missing tab stop.

When I click into each error and look at the Tab index it shows as - 1.

Minus one.png

I looked at this Microsoft Docs and it talks about Tab index saying "Set all TabIndex properties to 0 or -1 whenever possible."

So my question is, if the Tab index is already -1 before I make changes, why am I seeing this issue? If I change it to 0, the error disappears. If I add it back to -1 the error appears again.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong please, or misunderstanding.

Thanks very much,

Garry

    Hi @GarryPope ,

Actually it is not an issue, they are just telling app makers that they have not enabled tab stop function since TabIndex set to -1 means disable this function on certain controls:

I found a blog that may help and give answers to your doubts:

    Hope this helps.

    Hello @v-jefferni,

Thanks for sending the reply, and for sharing the blog post. That was such a funny blog post from John Hall, really well written.

Sorry, I read the blog post but it doesn't appear to answer the question? I still have these accessibility warnings that I can't get rid of. They report fields whose tabstop are set to -1.
