So i wanted to make the bot greet first as well as customize the looks of it but to do so, i need to insert some code to a index.html file and connect using my BOT ID. However, it never works and just says "unable to connect" all the time. Pls help me on this
Hi @jasraaj09 ,
I believe you are trying to change the core of the bot engine which no one has access.
If you can, try to build your bot with Bot Framework Composer, but hardcoding it all, so you can implement this variant.
As @Monkeyman said, I don't see the point as well.
so that the response by chatbot doesn’t look too cramped up and it creates a natural like user response
Why do you need the delay ?
ah yes i’ve tried that @fernandosilva , problem is , the “ chatbot is typing” remains there even if the new topic is redirected.. It doesn’t go away after the delay time set
Hi @jasraaj09 ,
When you create the delay on Power Automate, you can create a text field before the delay where it says "Chatbot is typing..."
hey @fernandosilva and thanks for the reply, I have figured that out but , how do i pair that with a “chatbot is typing” or a “waiting emoji” at the bottom of the chat canvas
You can achieve that creating a flow on Power Automate, which will have a delay where you can specify in seconds, minutes, hours, etc.
So, before you have a bot response, you activate the flow on your topic.
okay so basically, i’m trying to create a delay in a bot response .. So everytime the bot says something, there’s a few seconds delay..
Any way to achieve that?
nice one.
sorry I don’t understand what you are trying to achieve
hi bro, thanks for the reply..
Managed to fix it, was using the wrong ID.. Anyways, do you know how to create a bot response time?
