I have created several different Dataverse custom connectors for use by a Declarative Agent (have also tested in Copilot Studio agents), but have had no success in returning any data from it. Even a simple List Rows custom connector with the row count set to 1 returns an error. See below (I have set the input variables to a specific value):

This has been replicated in another tenant and the same issue has been observed. I have also tested the same query on Power Automate, with it working as expected:

Hi Artur, thanks for your prompt response.

Thanks for clarifying that this is a preview feature. The agent should have access to the table, as the action is using User Authentication and I am testing with a fully licensed Power Platform service account. I suspect this is just a general bug that will be addressed in the near future, I will come back to the solution in a week or two and see if the issue persists.

    Thanks

    Hello,

first thing: keep in mind that this functionality called generative orchestration (the model decides what action/topic to invoke) is a preview feature, which means it's incomplete, only for testing purposes. You can read more about preview features here: https://copilottoday.com/what-is-a-preview-feature-in-microsoft-products/.
Second thing: are you sure that an agent has the access to the table? What connection are you using? Copilot author? It might also be the case that it's just not working correctly because of what I've said above.

In case of any other questions, let me know. If the answer helped you, mark it, so that others can benefit from it.

    Best regards,
