Hi all,

I am trying to have a text field auto fill on an editable grid as shown in Reza Dorrani's video ((556) Editable Grid in Power Apps | SharePoint List - YouTube).

I would like the 'Check completed by' field to auto-fill User().FullName OnSelect of the 'latest check' field.

All I have managed to do is get the whole column to update.

Any help would be greatl

    Hi @ReveredBeard ,
    If you are using a label control, you can use below formula in Text property of it -

    If(!IsBlank(latestCheckDataPicker.SelectedDate) && !IsBlank(ThisItem.'Check completed by'), User().FullName, ThisItem.'Check completed by')

    Hi @NandiniBhagya20 ,

    Thank you for you comment however all this did was change any prefilled fields to my name. I need the previous ones to remain the same and when i amend the next row down's date that the 'check completed by' then inputs my name in that specific row.

    Hi @ReveredBeard ,
    Try using below formula  -

    If(IsBlank(ThisItem.'Receiving Officer'), User().FullName, ThisItem.'Receiving Officer')

    Hi @NandiniBhagya20 ,

    Unfortunately that just prefilled all the blank fields.

    Combined the If functions:

    Hi @ReveredBeard ,
    The below formula will fill the label with user's name when Date is not blank -

    If(!IsBlank(ThisItem.'Receiving Officer'),ThisItem.'Receiving Officer', If(IsBlank(LatestCheck.SelectedDate),ThisItem.'Receiving Officer', User().FullName))
