Hi all,
I'm trying to make my apps compatible with some style guide - FluentUI seems fine. I'm not a UI designer but I can copy examples. It seems as though Power Apps isn't compatible though. Will it be? Most of the controls are different from what I see in the FluentUI docs.
I'm looking here: https://github.com/microsoft/fluentui
When I create components in Power Apps, they don't look or behave like these although the ones in the Creator Kit seem like they do.
Anyone have any information on this?
Thanks!
Hi @bfischer
You can only 'officially' use the new fluent controls within the Power Apps editor for Microsoft Teams - there are ways to get them into the normal editor, but at this present moment in time there is no GA way to enable them for standalone canvas apps (no setting in app settings that enables them)
@Tchesco has a great set of components they made that look more like actual Fluent UI - you could use these in the interim here:
Fluent UI Components - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)
Cheers,
Sancho
