Hi all,

I am using Canvas App and I wonder if it would be possible for an anonymous user outside on my organization to access my app...

Sharing Canvas apps with anonymous users is not directly supported within the standard functionality of Microsoft Power Apps. Canvas apps are primarily designed for use within an organization, and users typically need to authenticate with an Office 365 account. However, there are a few workarounds and alternative approaches that can be considered:

    1. Power Apps Portals: Instead of using a Canvas app, you can use Power Apps Portals, which are specifically designed to allow external users, including anonymous users, to access and interact with data in Dataverse. Portals offer a way to create websites accessible by external users who don't have Power Apps licenses.

    2. Embedding Canvas App in a Website or SharePoint: If your audience has access to a SharePoint site, you can embed a Canvas app within SharePoint. While this doesn't allow strictly anonymous access (since SharePoint requires authentication), it's a way to share with users who might not have direct access to the Power Apps environment.

    3. Service Accounts: You can create a service account with a license and share these credentials. Users can log in with this shared account to access the app. This approach is not recommended as it may violate licensing agreements and has security implications.

    4. Microsoft Forms and Power Automate: As an alternative, you can use Microsoft Forms to collect data from anonymous users and then use Power Automate (Flow) to process that data and interact with your Power Apps environment.

It's important to consider the licensing terms and conditions of Power Apps and any related services, as well as the security implications of allowing anonymous access to your applications and data.

Thank you for the detailed answer. In this page https://powerapps.microsoft.com/fr-fr/pricing/

there is a paid solution to access low code applications. Can I rely on this ?

    Thank you

    Hi @MoffGuideon ,

Please refer to the latest license guide and check with your Microsoft license re-seller.

    Best Regards
