Hi everyone.
I am trying to test and get more familiar with integrating copilot studio agents into PowerApps canvas app. I came across a connector: Microsoft Copilot Studio (Preview).
until now I was not able to call or execute my custom copilot agent through the app.
One of the feature that came with this connector is:
'MicrosoftCopilotStudio(Preview)'.ExecuteAgent
Who has tested this connector? And is there any adjustment I must add to my copilot studio agent to make it respond to my app?
Thank you all
It's great to hear that you're exploring the integration of Copilot Studio agents into PowerApps!
The MicrosoftCopilotStudio(Preview) connector is indeed a powerful tool for extending the capabilities of your app.
To successfully call or execute your custom Copilot agent through your PowerApps canvas app, you might need to ensure a few things:
Permissions: Verify that your credentials have the necessary permissions to access and execute the agent. Sometimes, the agent might not appear if the permissions are not correctly set up.
Agent Configuration: Ensure that your Copilot agent is properly configured and published. You can check the actions available for your agent in the configuration panel and make sure it's set up to handle the requests from your app.
Testing: Test the connection and the execution of the agent within your app. Make sure to validate that the agent responds as expected when triggered from the app.
If this fixes the issue, please mark as resolved to help others with find it.
Happy to help
