I am using a form within a modern offline app to collect images/photos with add media.
The images are being stored in Dataverse but with content type  application/octet-stream.
When opening the image from the dataverse table it is only 9kb, the locations starts with: data:image/png;base64,

How do I collect and save the images at their original size and content type image/png

    Hi ,

    Thank you for choosing Microsoft Community.

    To collect and save the images at their original size and content type image/png, try these:

    1. Use an Image Column:Instead of using `application/octet-stream`, use an image column in Dataverse.

    2. Update Your Form: Ensure your form is set up to use the image column.

    3. Check the API: If you're using an API to upload images, make sure it's configured to handle image data correctly.

    4. Test the Upload: After making these changes, test the form submission to ensure the images are stored correctly. You should see the full-size image in the Dataverse table, not just a thumbnail or base64 string.

    If this solves the issue, please mark as resolved to enable others find it.

    Happy to help,

    Robu1

    @Robu1 Thanks for your reply.
    The dataverse columns are set to image.
    The form is collecting the image and storing it to dataverse but only as a thumbnail.
