    Hi @TanviMehta ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to create a Planner Task using PowerApps app, and added some Checklist items to it, and then assign this task to specific user?

If you want to create a Planner Task using PowerApps app, and assign it to a specific user, I think PowerApps app could achieve our needs. But if you still want to add some Checklist items to the created Planner Task, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

Currently, there is no property released under the "Create a task" action of Planner connector to add Checklist items to a task. More details about the "Create a task" action of Planner connector, please check the following article:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/planner/#create-a-task

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Apps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas

If you want to create a Planner Task in PowerApps canvas app, and assign it to specific users, please check the following workaround:

Please check the following attached sample app for more details.

Thankyou @v-xida-msft . The solution and sample App you provided is perfect. However, what if I need to read already created tasks from planner on my App ? And the task in planner has a list of checklist attached to it

    Hi @TanviMehta ,

If you just want to display created Planner tasks in your canvas app, I think the Gallery control could achieve your needs. Please check the following screenshot:

    1.JPG

Add a Gallery control, set the Items property to following:

    Planner.ListTasksV2(PlanDropdown.Selected.id).value

     or

    Planner.ListTasksV3(PlanDropdown.Selected.id, PlanDropdown.Selected.id).value

But if you want to display these Planner Tasks which have Checklist items attached to in the Gallery, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs currently. Currently, there is no way to detect if a Planner Task has a list of Checklist items attached to it using Planner connector action in canvas app. And there is no attribute exposed under the Planner.ListTasksV2() or Planner.ListTasksV3() function to indicate a list of Checklist items have been attached to this task.

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Apps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas

If the reply I provided above is helpful in your scenario, please consider go ahead to click "Accept as Solution" to identify my reply as helpful.
