Giving My company Employee access to apps created in powerapp

Hello guys,

I have a few questions about powerapps.

1. How do i share the app I created with other employees in my company?

2. do we assign these employees new subscription plan ?, (my company employees don't have any subscription to Microsoft except me and perhaps my boss)

3. does the subscription plan or Microsoft account or whatever it called have to be in the same environment as my account?

4. what the cheapest subscription plan we can get?

5. And about the app im creating itself, is it possible to do some sort of currency converter using powerapps?

They only need to use the app and nothing more. Googling these stuff gives me somewhat confusing results.

Forgive me for these question, i just started using powerapp like 2 weeks ago.

Thanks in advance. Smiley Very Happy

    Hi @Anonymous ,

For your first question, do you want to share your app with other employees in your company? If you want to share your app with other employees in your company, you must make sure that all other employees are in same Organization as you firstly. And each one of the other employees must own a PowerApps plan, Office 365 includes PowerApps plan or PowerApps for Dynamics 365 plan.

More details about sharing app within PowerApps, please check the following article:

    Share an app

For your second question, as I mentioned within my first reply. Each of the other employees must have an Office 365 work or school account which owns a Office 365 plan includes PowerApps at least.

More details about licenses for PowerApps, please check the following articles:

    https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/#compare-plans

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/pricing-billing-skus

In addition, you could also consider try PowerApps Plan 2 for free for 30 days. During the trial, users have access to all of the features in PowerApps Plan 2. Please check the following article for more details:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/signup-for-powerapps

For your third question, just as I mentioned within above two replys. The other Employees must be in same Organization as you. And each one of them must own a PowerApps plan, Office 365 includes PowerApps plan or PowerApps for Dynamics 365 plan.

For your forth question, the cheapest license for PowerApps is Office 365 Business Essentials ($5 user/month). Please check the following article for more details:

    https://products.office.com/en-us/compare-all-microsoft-office-products?tab=2

For your fifth question, based on your needs, I think PowerApps could achieve your needs.

    Best regards,
