Power Platform Export Task error Access to the path 'D:\a\1\s\xxxxxxx' is denied

I am very new to the power platform ALM process. When I follow the tutorials to create a build pipeline in Azure Devops - I have encountered the access denied issue during the run. Tried a couple of security setting for the project and pipeline, no luck.

Is there a specific build agent/user permission need to set?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi  @wp2021 ,

Usually you unpack first the solution, and then check it in to git.

That's the standard way, when you consider your environment the "source of truth".

If you want to see an example/tutorial of this, you could have a look to @BenediktB 's blog: https://benediktbergmann.eu/2020/02/10/cds-basic-alm-process/

    Hope this helps!

Hi @DianaBirkelbach , That did the trick. Thanks!

I have another question -  I was hoping (in my initial attempt) to call the checked-in solution files from GIT via power platform export task, I am a bit confused that if I want to get the files from/to GIT, I could not use the power platform task, should I use command script to checkin/merge the files instead?

    Thanks again!

    Hi @wp2021 ,

You could try to define the Solution Output File like this:

    $(Build.ArtifactStagingDirectory)\SolutionFile.zip

Here are the docs for the variables: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/pipelines/build/variables?view=azure-devops&tabs=yaml&WT.mc_id=BA-MVP-5004107#build-variables-devops-services

    Hope this helps!
