Permission

Hello Members,

I need your help. I have created my very first simple App with data from tables I created myself within power Apps following instructions from an online tutor. When I browse to display only the list headers display, the section for the information brings an error ''You don't have permissions to view these records". What are these permissions I have to consider to move forward. Otherwise, I am stuck. Meanwhile, the tutors information displays well with no errors.

    Re: Permission

Hi @snanjeru , we recently released simplified UI for Table Permissions. You can view all your table permissions in one view and mange effectively.  This will help you in understanding these permissions.

    Re: Permission

    @snanjeru ,

Check whether entity permission has been enabled/checked for the entity list. If so, then add web role of the logged in contact to the entity/table permission or uncheck entity permission from the entity list.

    Regards,

    Prakash

    Re: Permission

    Hi @snanjeru ,

Which datasource are you using? A SharePoint list or a CDS table?

Which permission do you have of the table?

Can you see these records directly when you are inside the datasource?

    Best regards,

    Allen

    Re: Permission

    Hi @snanjeru

Pls confirm which source you are connecting. If it SharePoint for an example you need to have relevant permission for the list you are connecting. The same principle is applied for excel and other sources.

If you have proper permission then remove the connection and reconnect again.

    Hope it helps
