I do not see the option to deploy the Azure OpenAI deployment to PowerVirtualAgent (Copilot Studio). How can I get the option to deploy it to copilot studio?
I also have the same issue, would love to hear an answer. I have tried the other way as well to make the connection through power apps as it suggests in the generative answers section of copilot studio to no avail.
Hello
the option is still there, but it ONLY shows AFTER you have selected and configured a data source
(very poor UI design if you ask me....)
Hey, thanks for replying? So the data source must be provided on the Copilot studio end? I was hoping to try link to a model deployed in AzureOpenAI that had vector search enabled on a Azure Blob storage instance.Would this only be able to be done through an API call? Trying to understand how it works
The data source has to be provided on Azure OpenAI end. On the left of the screen of the Azure OpenAI chat, there should be a "data source" button. Add a data source here and then you can deploy on your copilot.
Add the data source in your Azure OpenAI "chat" (pick the model you want, the indexing you need, etc by following the steps after you click on "add data source"). Once this is done you will be able to publish this to Copilot Studio - it will deploy and configure the API end point for you.
@remidyon I am not able to add the public URL as it is asking me to set up an Azure AI Search resource, which, I understand, is not required.
You don’t need to use Azure Ai If you just want to use a public URL as a data source to ground Copilot Studio. You can simply add it to in the generative AI settings
There is a problem here as the inbuilt Gen AI capability is not performing as the GPT 35 turbo model or GPT 4 model is performing. Considering which, I want to use the custom built model from Azure AI Studio/Azure OpenAI and deploy to my chat bot.
I tried changing the confidence interval to high and medium but it is sending random responses.
Could you explain what the initial problem is? Copilot Studio is using GPT 3.5 Turbo in the back for generative answers. What do you mean by "random responses"? Many times when Copilot is not behaving correctly it is because of bad conversation / topic design. I have seen many implementations working just fine without the need for Azure OpenAI models.
I am trying as well to deploy my model into copilot studio, I can actually see the Azure OpenAI there, but I had to to it manually because when I deploy from Azure OpenAI it only gives me the option to create a new bot and doesn't deploy anything.
After adding the connection, when I click on the properties all the fileds are empty. Any idea on what I could be doing wrong?
