Ability to chat with Agent using "@" in Teams

Hello,

I have created my Custom Agent in Copilot studio. It is not intended for the use of entire organization, only several selected users.

I have published the Agent and shared it with those users only. We are all able to chat individually with the Agent in Teams in a separate chat window.

I would now like to be able to chat with this Agent in a dedicated Teams channel for these selected users. Usually it is possible to do so by using "@" sign. However, I can not find my Agent using this sign.

What can be a reason for it? Is it because I did not make it public for the entire organization and it was not added to Power Apps?

Thank you,

For your dedicated Channel what type is it (private? public?)

    1. Can you share your manifest for the bot? I want to make sure its registered the scopes properly for where it can chat. Just want to make sure it supports the personal, group and team scoes.

Can you verify whats in the app registration for its name versus what you are typing in pls

    Hello Michael,

I have only started learning how to build agents, so I do not know how to retrieve bot manifest.

But here is a background: Agent is private, not shared with entire organization. Security group was created and it was shared only with those select users. Channel is also private, only for that group of users.

I have tried searching for this Agent in Power Apps, it is not there and I assume the reason is because it is not public for the entire organization.

So is there even a possibility query non-public bots by using "@" sign?

    Thank you,
    Iryna
