Hello, I am trying to get my fields to be editable and to fill them out. However; when I connect them to my sql database they come back as view texts. Anyone have a clue why?

The most likely cause is the underlying table doesn't have a primary key, so this is the first thing that I'd check.
Check that the table has a primary key. Also make sure you're using the datatypes that are currently supported by Powerapps. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/functions/data-types
