Show DATA from Power BI

Hello,

I am new to power apps and I need some help on how to do this. Basically I have a sharepoint list and I modify the edit form with powerapps. I want if there is a specific field filled in a grid from Power BI to be loaded.

For example

If this record has a Reference e.g 123456 then the power bi table should use this and perform a query to bring the DATA.

    Hi @iioannou,

Could you please explain a bit for the scenario you described as the example?

"If this record has a Reference e.g 123456 then the power bi table should use this and perform a query to bring the DATA."

How the Record reference is determined under the Power BI side? And which data should be brought out from Power BI side?

I don't think a field fill-in operation within PowerApps form would be able to act as a trigger to make Power BI load the data, or saying that this should be currently not supported, if I understand your meaning correctly.

Currentnly, PowerApps could only be available to read the filtered data from PowerApps custom Visual,

and within PowerApps, there is Power BI Tile control available, which makes it available to show Power BI Tiles within PowerApps.

    Regards,

    Michael

Many thanks for your reply @v-micsh-msft

You understand correctly what I aim to do. I need a trigger basically and I have achieve that with SQL - I still have some problems to be honest but I am discussing them in another post.

If it cannot be done via Power BI then there is no need to discuss further.

    Thanks again for your help.
