Weird behavior in Excel file Connection

Hi All,

I experienced weird thing in PowerAPP,

Firstly, Today, I found my APP cannot patch (submit new form) to the source table.

Second, the problem unable-update source table can be newly connected to another APP which I deliberately newly create to test.
But If I create a copy of that file, it cannot be connected to new APP creation attempt.

Thirdly, I do not able to connect ANY simple newly created excel table (even just 2 columns table) in PowerAPP creation,
the error message prompt as shown below.

…. Failed to read metadata from file source. Response from the end service is : Bad Request clientRequestId: 5cfc6e24-9d47-4503-9fc2-0b527a43167cserviceRequestId: 5cfc6e24-9d47-4503-9fc2-0b527a43167c;5cfc6e24-9d47-4503-9fc2-0b527a43167cSession ID: 547e0e50-0782-4e19-a618-8c5765e0bbf6

Any advice about this strange phenomenon is welcome
thanks
Stephen

    Hi,

What I suggest is that you review the status of your Excel connection in the Connections section. There should be an option to reconnect and to authenticate, so I would try doing that.

Next, I'd refresh the connection from within your Power App.

Hopefully, those 2 things will help.

    thank Timl,

yes, It relates to connection issue.  I found the problem solved when I switch Account to connect.  I have the PowerAPP on  an institute account and the source file in my personal account Ondrive.  I think somehow the  personal account be logged out without noticed.
When I click the connection to switch account (personal), the problem resolved.

    thanks
    Stephen
