Hello!
I am an IT intern helping with implementing governance along the Power Platform, and I had a question about governing MS Teams environments. MS Teams environments, from my understanding and research, are automatically created when a power app is created under the MS Team.
I have read a few articles of possible ways to help govern, such as implementing business justification or blocking the creation of apps and flows, but we want to stop environments from being created in the first place, since users are unaware, but want them to still have the freedom to create such objects for their Microsoft Teams. Is there a way to stop the automatic creation of Microsoft Teams environments when the team's app is created? Does anyone have experience for governing this area?
In advance, thank you for your time! I am quite new to this, and I want to help the company I'm interning for. I apologize if this is posted in the incorrect category. Any advice is much appreciated. 🙂
Its not possible to stop creating the environments when someone add an app.
If there is no activity then as per Microsoft docs here it should get deleted.
