Hello,
I am trying to write a formula that says, "If department = X then sum total steps. Right now, I have the total steps for all departments/associates, but I would like to break it down by department and by associate. How could I accomplish this?
Thank you,
Khrystina
Hi @KhrystinaM
You need to filter your Sum function. Try this:
Sum(Filter('Fitness Tracker', 'Department Name' = 'Name of dropdown control'.Selected.Value), Steps)

Thanks,

@AARON_C, that worked. Thank you so much for your help! Wondering if you can help me with another question. I am trying to create an associate dropdown field, but the Associate field name is not in my allowed selection. The field in SharePoint is a Person or Group field. Can I not use that type of field for dropdowns? Associate Name is not in the list below.
