Hi
In my app I have a gallery and inside gallery i have Horizontal container. I added Horizontal container because i need to hide my controls in gallery based on combobox selection and when i hide the Horizontal containers aligns controls beautifully.
The problem is now i need to add a horizontal scroll bar and i can't. I tried the slider technique and standart setting the Horizontal overflow to Scroll in my MainSection Vertical container as well as in Gallery Horizontal container.
Help please.
Hi @jja ,
I don't think the slider will work with the horizontal container. But I suggest you do the following:
1. Expand the width of the nested gallery (in the container) to be wider than the screen.
2. Copy and paste the gallery in the gallery again (to get it out from the container).
3. Insert the slider value in the X of the gallery. You can also insert the slider value in the X of the controls in the gallery (if you want to create a freeze pane view).
Regards.
Hi @JB0007
What do you mean paste gallery inside gallery?
now my structure look like this:
Verticalcontainer
>Gallery
>HorizontalContainer
Control1
Control2
etc...
Sorry for my explanation, what I mean is you would need to add another horizontal container and paste that gallery inside the container.
But you can see this article that will explain the steps in smaller details:https://www.richardawilson.com/2021/03/horizontally-scroll-large-power-apps.html
