i need help with the copilot studio. I uploaded some information on the knowledge base of the copilot studio using a word document
however, as part of the content of the document i have  url/link but when there is an interaction between the user and the agent it does not return link to the user. instead refers the user to access the link via the document.
How do i make the agent return a url where neccessary during user engagements?

    Hi ,

Unfortunately yes, copilot does'nt return URL in the response rather only the text output. By default it can return only the citation in the form of link and cannot show the URL from the knowledge source.

But we can try one simple workaround:

Use Plain URLs - Instead of hyperlinking text (e.g., [Click here](https://example.com)), write full URLs in plain text:

This makes it easier for Copilot Studio to extract and return since its in Text format.

    Thanks.

Like the Classic agent a link can be appended when creating a new topic but this is not available here. so how best can i return a link to the user ( This is to enable the user navigate to an assigned shared drive where the reference document is hosted)

    What are the possible options?

    Hi  ,

Are you talking about some common link that you need to specify to user for all any response?

If that is the case, we can make use of adaptive card to format the response and pass on the common link.

    Thanks.

I tried to implement this solution, but it does not seem to be working for me. Do you have any ideas? Note that I am able to generate a link for the knowledge source by using a message node in a topic dedicated to the resource. The topic triggers a custom message containing the Title of the resource and the URL using the [Title](URL) formatting. But when information is presented from within the knowledge source, the links still don't work. Is there a way to achieve this?
