Clearing SharePoint Person Field in 2024

I am looking for code to patch a SharePoint list and clear a person field. Please only reply if you have a PowerApp that is clearing a person field and it's running successfully in 2024. All of the posts throughout the internet about doing this from a Power App appear to be out of date and no longer work.

I agree with FLMike - we all give our time and experience free here, so any ideas should be welcomed.

This is not easy, particularly as it is a workaround also suppressing an error. If you have a hidden ComboBox (single select set up as a Person) with the Items
Choices(YourList.YourPersonField)

and then
IfError( Patch( List, YourRecordHere, {PersonField: ComboBoxName.Selected} ), Notify( "Whatever", 10 ) )

the patch works and the message has a setting of 100th of a second, so the user never sees it.
