Deleting Audit Logs

When deleting audit logs to clear up space, does deletion get rid of just system logs, or will it actually delete account, contact, etc. audit logs. I'm just trying to understand exactly what data gets deleted so nothing important goes missing form our CRM. We would like to delete records 3 years and older.

Hi alyssalee73,

Everything will be deleted under "View Audit Logs".

There you can filter and check account, contact, etc or in there.

Otherwise consider the option By Table there you can select the tables to clear the logs.

It will delete all audit data included all entities. If you want to delete specific data then you can applied filter using audit lig or can write code. OOB, it will delete all data.
