Adding additional Data Sources

Hi all,

This qualifies as a newbie question I guess:

Long story short - I created an app from a SharePoint Custom list, which created a decent app based on the one Custom List. It was auto-generated via the "Create an App" dialog in the list bar in SharePoint. It did a nice job, providing a good starting point.

The issue is, the site that this list came from has 6 custom lists that include some Lookup lists.

I'm trying to add new Data Sources to the app so I can use these othe lists in the app that was created for me.

This app probably isn't a good candidate to use the Common Data Service, as I need users to use both the SharePoint site and the PowerApps app to create and use the data in the site.

All of the official MS documentation is out of date, as there is no longer an "Add Data Source" dialog as described in the doc.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

    The option is available

Select, data sources, then search for your data source , select or add your connection and then connect to the data

Go to View > Data sources and you will see a panel with a search box on the left side.  Search for SharePoint, which will bring up the list of connectors available like sharepoint. Highlight the SharePoint entry and you will see a list of SharePoint connectors you've already created and the ability to add a new connector.
