I have a form with multiple datacards and some are displayed dynamically based on selection from another datacard fields.  I am not able to snap them properly.  I have tried manually and adjusting widthfit, but lot of empty spaces on the forms and they not setting side by side. any idea how to fix it?

i do not think that this is possible when it is turned on, form control itself has very limited possibilities for reordering controls in them.

    pls try the following:

Enable WidthFit and HeightFit properties for each data card, especially for cards that appear and disappear based on conditions.
    • Go to the form’s properties and set Number of Columns (under Layout). This controls how many cards appear side by side.
    • Adjust Column Width to allow data cards to sit within the same row more comfortably.
    • Create a group for each set of data cards you want to show or hide together, then set the visibility of the group instead of individual data cards. This minimizes layout shifts when fields are hidden or shown.
    • If your Power Apps environment supports Responsive Layout Containers, switch to using them as they offer more control over positioning and responsiveness. Use Horizontal and Vertical Containers to control alignment within rows and columns, minimizing gaps when cards appear or disappear.
    • Adjust padding between cards to reduce gaps by setting PaddingLeft, PaddingRight, PaddingTop, and PaddingBottom to zero where possible.

Thank you for this informative video, it works when the snap to column is turned off.  I am creating a responsive layout therefore How can I achieve  the same functionality  with snap to column turned on.

    hey

this is a bit tricky and sometimes not possible in an editform. Thats why i like to use a blank canvas and just throw my inout controls there as i need them.

but this video could be helpful:
