using PowerApp for interactive flowchart

Hello,

Which microsoft App is the most adapted to build and interactive/clickable flowchart diagram?
Could PowerApp be an option?

We are mapping the actors of agricultural value chain, and the interactions between them. I would like the end user to be able to click on each actor to get more information (like challenges, average production costs, or any relevant information) to avoid having a too much crowded diagram.

Here is an example of a value chain diagram:

We would like to be able to click on each text box to either have a pop-up with more info, or be redirected to another page with detailed information

Thanks a lot!

    hi @si_dez_im_ope

Do have a look at Visio, you can add datasources to it as well in the event your information such as challenges are dynamic of nature. The web does have enough resources on this. Visio Online in available to everyone with a variety of O365 licenses.

If you wish to be a more creative Power apps can indeed be used for this, it will be a lot more work than Visio in the end.

    Hope this helps,

    R

I found this question as I have the same question: Google found this: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/how-to-make-interactive-flowchart/4fa352c2-09ed-4d6d-9147-b750bd6ee7e2 that directed me to Power apps as a solution. But this questions does not seem to be answered here. I would love to know how as well.

    Hi,

rubin_boer are you sure Power Apps is the right tool for this?
I definitely agree, that Visio would be well-suited, as it’s designed to create complex flowcharts and supports linking to additional information through clickable elements. You can even integrate Visio with SharePoint or Power BI for more advanced interactivity and data connections if needed.

Additionally, consider Microsoft Whiteboard (https://whiteboard.office.com/) if your team is brainstorming or mapping out high-level connections. While Whiteboard isn’t designed for detailed flowcharts, it’s great for visual brainstorming and can help organize initial ideas before moving to a more structured tool like Visio.

But when it comes to Power Apps, I think the capabilities to create visual outcomes are very restricted.
Power Apps is a service to build applications to manage and store information about supply chain, approve and manage blocks on database level.

    L.
