Submit Text Recognizer from another control

Is there any way to attach an image to the Text Recognizer control, and then retrieve its results from another control? I have a form with a custom card containing a camera control. Upon clicking my submit button, the last photo taken is saved to a variable. I wish to extract the text from this image automatically. Ideally the text recognizer control would be hidden the entire time.

Sorry I forgot to reply to this! Thank you. I actually discovered that exact method from some other post. I have achieved what I wanted by performing the text recognition entirely within my submit button's OnSelect property.

Hi @JasonWS - thanks for posting this question.

Now you can call AI Builder models directly from Power Fx formulas. So, you can probably achieve it this way. Here's how to use AI Builder models with formulas. Use AI Builder models in Power Apps - AI Builder | Microsoft Learn Just add 'Text Recognition' as a data source and you'll be able to use it for example when clicking the submit button.
