Unable to edit/ view a form in powerapps

Hi,

I have created a few forms for my company which all worked fine up until these all stopped working. Pretty please help me. Thanks!

When I'm creating a new item, the form works all good, I can see all the dopdowns correctly (these options come from a separate list in Sharepoint). This item is correctly registered in the list.

When I open an item that has already been submitted, in view mode, these fields are not completed anymore even though the list shows it completed.

In edit mode the dropdowns aren't showing anything so I cannot edit the fields if needed.

Hi,

Just to be safe check these things (dont just say no one changed anything check them)

Check your Datasource for the Form

Check your Mode

Check that your Control has the proper Items value set

Check that your Control has the proper View/Search Column selected (right side, edit fields)

Check that the Default/DefaultSelectedItems has the proper expression

Just all of that if you still don't see it

then run your app under Monitor and look for errors

Lastly, make sure your data hasn't changed somewhere that you didnt know about.

Can you please share (in Text) the Items, Default (or DefaultSelectedItems if Combo Boxes) and the Data Card Update properties.

Hi @AG-23080858-0,

I had the exact behaviour you mentioned with one of the Sharepoint customized power apps forms having some cascading drop downs.

It was working all this time and suddenly noticed stopped working since last week.

I changed the Form default mode from New to Edit and published again. It Started to work again.
