Gallery templateSize based on height of nested gallery

Hello,

I have a gallery (galExtBotContaminant) nested inside a gallery (galContainerListExtBot).  The nested gallery will change height from 0 (no records) to 81 (1 or more records).

The Parent gallery's Template size needs to have a value/height based on the nested gallery height + 90.

No matter what, if there is a record within the Parent gallery where there is a nested galley with a value of 81 then all the parent gallery items get a templatesize of 171 (81+90).

For example Item13 I would have expected to have a templatesize of 90, because the nested gallery has a height of 0.

I don't understand why this is happening.

Is anyone able to provide advice?

    Hi @Rosie ,

    Sorry but I am afraid there is no way to achieve your goal.We can use TemplateSize to modify the height of the Gallery template in the Gallery, but using the height of the controls in the Gallery in the TemplateSize property to modify the height of the Gallery templates cannot be take effect.

    Best Regards,

    @v-JessicaG-msft ,

    Thanks for your reply.

    So there is no way to have each TemplateSize be different based on the content that would be in each section of the gallery?

    I have tried many ways to do this, it doesn't have to be based on the control.  I just want the template size to be 81 when there is no record to show in the nested gallery and 171 when there is.

    Many thanks

    Rosie
