Hello everyone,
I have a scenario in PowerApps that I could use some help with. I have a table in Dataverse containing items that can be allocated to boxes ( Pack 1, 2, 3, 4...), and the number of boxes is determined by a 'volume' value. For example, item A is placed in box 1 with 40 units, and it is also allocated to boxes 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 (5 volumes), each containing 10 units. My goal is to display these items grouped according to their respective boxes, in numerical order, along with a description of the volumes, all within a gallery in PowerApps.
Here's a snapshot of my original data:
PACK DESC VOLUME QUANT
| 1 | PRODUCT A | 1 | 10 |
| 1 | PRODUCT A | 1 | 10 |
| 1 | PRODUCT A | 1 | 5 |
| 1 | PRODUCT A | 1 | 10 |
| 1 | PRODUCT A | 1 | 5 |
| 1 | PRODUCT B | 1 | 5 |
| 2 | PRODUCT C | 3 | 10 |
| 2 | PRODUCT D | 3 | 2 |
| 2 | PRODUCT D | 3 | 2 |
| 2 | PRODUCT D | 3 | 10 |
| 2 | PRODUCT D | 3 | 1 |
| 1 | PRODUCT E | 1 | 8 |
| 3 | PRODUCT F | 5 | 1 |
| 3 | PRODUCT A | 5 | 10 |
| 3 | PRODUCT B | 5 | 8 |
Desired Result:
| PACK | DESC | QUANT |
| 1 | VOLUME 1 | 1 |
| 1.1 | PRODUCT A | 40 |
| 1.2 | PRODUCT B | 5 |
| 1.3 | PRODUCT E | 8 |
| 2 | VOLUME 2, 3, 4 | 3 |
| 2.1 | PRODUCT C | 10 |
| 2.2 | PRODUCT D | 23 |
| 3 | VOLUME 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 | 5 |
| 3.1 | PRODUCT F | 1 |
| 3.2 | PRODUCT A | 10 |
| 3.3 | PRODUCT B | 8 |
Any guidance or PowerApps formula suggestions to achieve this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and help!
