Happy Monday, one of my customers asked me about this, do you know where can I find more details?

For the "Execute Copilot" action we need to investigate what is the purpose of it and how it should be used.

Realistically.. unless they have changed it, all its good for is getting the Conversation ID back and then making another call to get the conversation details, as it doesn't return the actual answer atm.

No, I'm not talking about that but there's a new "execute copilot" action that can be used in agents.

This action is used to enable "Triggers" in Copilot studio. Calling it kicks off an autonomous agent run in copilot studio. It is automatically added to flows created by copilot studio in the triggers section.

Disabling this action will block all triggers / autonomous agents in copilot studio.

struggled to get a response from Execute Copilot in my Power Automate flow because I approached it incorrectly. My flow is triggered by a Teams message, and I expected Execute Copilot to expose a dedicated “answer” output. The fix was to include a concise instruction in the request body telling Copilot to post the reply back to Teams in the original thread using the message’s ID.

In my case, this was comically simple, and I laughed when it worked.
