Hi All,

Using New Mode Edit form, my goal is to submit the data from PowerApp to SharePoint list. On SubmitForm(), I am sending the Edit form but what I notice is the data are not updated to the list.

Few customizations made on the form are as below:

An "Edit text" control type is changed to "Allowed Values" and mapped with a data connection
Current logged User Name is default set to a Edit Text control type field and made read-only
Drop down list with option to add data
Some cascading drop down functionality
couple of Attachment control

Can someone enlighten on any functions that I need to include. I understand that we use Patch to update the fields. So should i have apply patch on each column before submit button functionality is triggered. Please suggest.

if entire form data is not submitted than please check if there are any errors like mandatory field not being filled etc.

if form is updated but the one's you customized is not updated than you need to check datacard properties one datafield: name of column ; update: value which you need to update is matching with the column setup in sharepoint ex: text column than update should have a string;number it should have number; choice column it should have record
