Seeking Guidance on Bot to Bot Orchestration

Hello,

I am in the process of creating different agents for various use cases. For some bot agents, I would like to enable users to interact with other Copilot bots within the same conversation.

For example:
If I am currently interacting with a Leave Management Bot, I would like to call a topic or functionality from the Recruitment Bot without switching to the Recruitment Bot's chat window.

I have noticed that in M365, it is possible to use "@" mentions to bring another bot into the conversation.

Is it possible to achieve this functionality by adding the Recruitment Bot as a skill to the Leave Management Bot?

Despite conducting research, I have not yet found a solution. Are there any workarounds or strategies to achieve bot orchestration in this context?

I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions from the community.

Thank you in advance for your support!

Seeking Guidance on Bot to Bot Orchestration

    Hello,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

That's true, "Triggers" might help, but I think it will take some time for an available trigger that allows us to trigger a different bot. Let's wait and see what Microsoft will bring us in future updates.

    Best regards,
    EBMRay

    Hello,

currently it's not possible to achieve the functionality like that in M365 Copilot, haven't heard of any option for this. You can only ask each agent separately, without any orchestration. But don't worry! There are already preview features like triggers in Copilot Studio, which enable that kind of functionality, but it's still a preview and we need to wait a while for it.
Overall nice job and nice idea!

In case of any other questions, let me know. If the answer helped you, mark it, so that others can benefit from it.

    Best regards,
