Power Apps editor settings

While designing app once i set the data table item source then it starts loading items even in designer which slows down the development. When i try to edit the formula for data table it keeps on refreshing the data and i cannot type in it properly. Any way or setting where we can set this off.. Like it should not load any data until we play it ?

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to not load the data within the Data table control when you are in Editor mode?

If you want to not load the data within the Data table control when you are in Editor mode (until you play this app), I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs within PowerApps currently.

exactly, Because if you are in editor window and trying to change the formula then it tries to refresh the data in datatable instantly which make it difficult for us to do the modification.

I tried below scenerios
Case 1 : Datatable return 500+ records. Here i faced issue while modifying the expressions or doing any modifications on the screen. I have to wait for some time before cursor appears on every letter I type. This happened only on data table screen only since it refreshes the data while i try to modify the expression.

Case 2 : In this case i made the expression such that always it return single row from datasource and it worked with ease. I was able to do anything on that screen pretty fast as compared to Case 1.

So based on this i think there should be a way to load the data when desired. for data table.
