Search Bar with Text Input to Search or Filter Gallery

Hi all,

 

Ive tried to make a search bar to filter or search for brand names listed but nothing I have tried from here works.

Im new to power apps so maybe its in the wrong place, or wrong code. Main error Im getting is "Expected Text Value"

 

See screenshot below.

    Hi!

     

    The code you have looks good, as long as serviceinfo is your datasource, and brand is the column name.

    However, I think you want it put in the "items" field of your gallery, not the "default" field of the text box
