Is there any better way of setting Environment Variables when deploying Power Apps solution

Hi All,

I have a un-manaaged solution where we have built an application which contains 1 Canvas App, several flows and around 60 environment variables. We deploy the solution to Stage and Production environments.

The manual setting of environment variables is a tedious task and at times also causes error since we need to do it manually for 60 times for both environment.

Is there any better way for setting environment variables. The environment variables we used are mostly sharepoint site, lists/libraries and some static values.

Is there no option where we can reduce the time for setting environment variables? Like some json config or something.
I have the same question (0)

You can set environment variables by flow, so if you prepare flow and you'll pass a json config into and parse it, you can set envs as you want :)

How will that work? When deploying to another environment i do not need to set the environment variables? Where will the flow be present on Stage and Prod?

    Hi!
You can use one unique Environment Variable type JSON and set in all your parameters in objects/arrays.
Into your flows/Apps you could retrieve the parameters necesary and you will have one unique json configuration by environment.

That it is an interesting option. I can see what you are trying to do. In Flows would need to read the json and get the list/library. But this would be lot of work on my already existing flows. Also how will this work in Canvas App? When Adding a data source i select the SharePoint site environment variable and then the list environment variable. Using your approach how will i connect to a data source.
