Dear Community,

In my dashboard I see mixed old and up-to-date data. Like I can see recent solutions made this year, the environment tabs goes also up till today too.

However on the Assesment tabs and the Adoption tabs in the dashboard, I only see data up to 2021 (well, the makers over time looks like having a bit more recent data):

On most of the tabs, the "Last Launched" date only goes up to Sep 2021. Also, we got a very-very old up up from the 18th century.MartonVilmanyi_1-1681743030597.png

What could cause this behavior? Do I have a flow that is not turned on? Seeing the licenses (and the usage of these) would be important information.

Thanks

vm

    Hello @MartonVilmanyi,

App launches are synchronized using the audit log components of the CoE: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/guidance/coe/setup-auditlog

    Maybe your client secret expired?

I'd recommend checking if the "[Child] Admin | Sync Logs" flow is throwing any errors.

Thank you for the answer, looks like I can just skip the audit part and not filter to the run by column. However for the other issues, I can see I have a lot of blanks and this causes the missing data in the report. Like for 300 apps, the "App Classification" is empty. I tried to remove one record, hoping that it would add it again with all the details with the next run, but it didn't. Is there a flow in the package that does a full update on all records?

    Hello @MartonVilmanyi,

Some of the fields need to be populated by the app makers (or admins). For example, in the app details of an app in the Power Platform Admin View app, there is a Governance tab, and inside the Governance tab there is a section "Maker requirements". This information is provided by the app maker. If the app maker doesn't provide it, it's blank:

Is that what you mean with "app classification"? I've tried to find this field in the PowerApps app table and the Power BI dashboard, but I couldn't find it.

The column is called App Plan Classification in the PowerApps Apps table.

Hi @MartonVilmanyi, the App Plan Classification property is not set for model-driven apps.

The property is set by the "Admin | Sync Template v3 (Apps)" flow using the "Get apps as admin" connector.

Could you double-check if you have any canvas apps without this property? All canvas apps should have this property set afaik. If not, the next step would be to verify that the sync template flow is still working correctly.

Hi, most of the apps are indeed model driven apps, but there are also canvas apps missing this poperty. Is there a simple reset option in the tool that cleans up everything and starts over the whole inventory? Maybe without affecting the audit data.
