Product Property OptionSet type is not displaying value for selection?

HI, I am using the Product Properties in Product entity and add new OptionSet type property with multiple values.

Example :

Product : Zenmuse

Product Perperties: Industry (OptionSet)

But when I am setting up the value of the property. I am expecting the drop down (OptionSet) list in the Value field but this is free text field and accept any text.

Let me know if I missed any configuration or this is the standard behavior?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @rrizwann,

Base on your screenshots, looks like "Property" is a custom entity that contains fields like Data Type and Default Value (lookup). Product Property Instance is another custom entity with a single line of text field "Value", not an optionset. What you should do based on my understanding of your screenshots are:

    1. Remove the single line of text field "Value" and create a lookup field "Value" to the same entity as the subgrid in the Property entity.
    2. In the lookup properties of the field, apply "Related Records Filtering" to filter only the records that are defined in your Property subgrid. Ex:
       2020-06-25_9-22-56.png
    3. To set the Default Value, you'll need a sync workflow on update (and create) of Product Property Instance entity. If Property ID field contains data, then update the Value to the default value set in the Property record..

    Hope this helps!

Agree with @EricRegnier â€”while there is a product properties associated with ootb product entity, what is in your screenshot doesn’t match the standard product properties functionality
