When can we expect the modern controls to be stable and useable

Hi all,

This is more of a general question.
When can we expect the modern controls to be fully ready for use in our canvas apps?

Recently, I had to replace all modern controls (e.g., DatePickers, Checkboxes, Toggles, Dropdowns, etc.) in several apps. The reason? They currently lack so many essential features that serious use isn't feasible.

For example, the modern Dropdown control doesn’t have an option to set the AllowedEmptyValue property. This seems like a relatively small design adjustment. While I understand that resolving many small issues can be a time-consuming development process, we've had access to modern controls for about two years now.

Question: When will they be truly ready for production use?

I didn't find a answer on the roadmap.

When can we expect the modern controls to be stable and useable

There has been no indication from Microsoft about when improvements will be made to the modern controls. I am using them for all my apps and greatly prefer them but occasionally I do have to replace one, for example a multiple lines of text column in a form, with a classic control.
