Hi ALL,

New to using PowerAPP. I am trying to build a powerapp that allows people to upload documents. I would like to extract the attachment file name as the title. As this would speed up the upload process.

Can anyone explain how I map the attachment card to the title card?

The fileds have been created as a Sharepoint list.

I have connect the sharepoint list to Powerapp.

I now need to extract the files names as the title so people dont have to retype the name.

Thank you!

    Hi @kingp ,

The Attachment Name is (use the actual name)

    First(YourAttachmentControlName.Attachments).Name

here u have an overview of my setup (tested it with a lable)

choose your control, pick the text property and provide the code as stated above. then it should show the name of the attachment in your title column

be aware that you need to provide the name of the control with the paper clip next to it (see second screenshot) looks like u picked the whole datacard and not the attachment control itself

in your case u need to put

    First(Datacardvalue13.Attachments).Name

u put the whole datacard. that is not working, because the datacard is a set of controls inside the card
