I have an edit form that has dropdown with its datasource a secondary reference sharepoint list.

i have filtered this dropdown based on 3 values from the primary list and upon submit the reference value from the secondary list gets saved to the primary sharepoint list.

the problem i have is if your go back to edit the form, the dropdown always shows the first row in the filtered list - is there anyway to default the dropdown to the value referenced by the saved reference value? and allow and end user to reselect another option?
