Canvas app link in customise forms

Hi,

I have created one customise project details form in the power app based on the SharePoint list. However, to enter financial details I have one separate excel. I want to build a canvas app based on Dataverse. How can I link this canvas app to the customise forms and how can I ensure that whosoever fills in the details that are shown for the same project.

Hi @hiti :

Do you want to open an app link in excel?

If so ,you could try deep link.Because deep link supports passing parameters, you only need to define a parameter and pass the ID of the Item as the value of this parameter to your Canvas APP. When your APP is opened, load the predefined parameters, and get the specified record as the item of the form to achieve your needs.

Hi ,
Currently, I am generating excel using a power automate flow for every new item that is created in the list. User fill details in these excel for each of the items. Now I want to capture excel data in a canvas app and am not sure how to build the connectivity of this app. Where to store data? How to access the canvas app from a customised form?
