Dataverse - dataflow with on-premise gateway license

Hi fellas,

 

Is there a license required to build a dataflow that loads on-prem data into Dataverse on a recurrent schedule from SQL tables?

 

My understanding is that the dataflow itself is free as the on-prem gateway install and configuration do not require any license.

Then users who will play with the Dataverse data will need PowerApps or Power Automate license. But no cost to bring the data into dataverse.

 

Am I right?

    Hi @Jaimé ,

     

    The on-premises gateway is a premium feature and would require a Per App or Per User Power Apps license or an appropriate Power Automate license if running as a flow.  You would need this for at least the user that is running the power query data flow.
