Hi brilliant people 🙂

I am a ripe newbie with PowerApp, PowerAutomate and Forms, but I am looking to get comments from reviewers of a Word Document via a Forms via a Forms Link.  The form will have a link to a word document that has line numbers turned on.  Reviewers will submit a form each time they have comments on a paragraph or two somewhere within the document.

I would like the reviewer to be able to type in the starting line and the ending line where there comments apply and have a PowerApp or a PowerAutomate trigger get the corresponding lines from the Word document and paste them in a text field within the form.

The resulting form data will eventually end up in a row in a SharePoint list.

I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to get the data from the word file ...and honestly i don't know how to wire it up to the form.  Alternately, the info could be pasted into the SharePoint list at record creation time.

If anyone could help point me in the right direction this would be greatly appreciated  🙂

Thanks in advance to anyone who contributes ...no matter how big or small 🙂  Please note that I am a computer professional and have coding experience in other pradigms.

    Could consider this:

    Content Reviews with Flow

However, this will not meet your exact requirement, it is instead alternate documented approach.

In order to do it exact that way you specify in the post, solution could be quite involved.

First, check if above alternate works instead.

If not, let's check and see if there are some responses here with some more ideas about how to do this in easy way.

Finally if there is extra time later, you may be advised of a possible approach but it may be quite complex and must be tested first. So let's see if others from this forum have potentially easier ways in mind first that could fit your requirements.

Wow! ...that was a crazy quick response.  I will try your suggestion out tomorrow and let you know how it goes.  Thank you so much!
