Question - What is the max number of data sources that should be used with PowerApps

Hi,

I'm just wondering the max amount of data sources you can have before i need to make another app, and have the current app link to that, in order to continue with the forms.

I am using sharepoint lists as my data sources, each list is a separate form. I have around 100 forms i need to create but not sure if having 100 data sources within one app will affect the performance of the app.

Hi @PowerNovice ,

The recommended maximum for performance reasons is 30 - I have a couple of apps with a few more than that, but I think 100 would not be advisable.

Thank you, yeh i didnt think it would be a great idea.

What would you recommend in this instance? Would linking one app to another be the better idea?

Without knowing your business model, it is a bit hard, however one list with a field containing whatever content is different would be the best approach. You also should not need 100 forms - just one addressing the relevant record,
