connect to dataverse tables in excel

Hi Guys

I have a solution in specific environment on power platform

Now the issue is when i try to connect to dataverse in excel to analyse some of the tables, these tables are not visible, although am accessing correct environment and using schema name of tables (tried also display name), but the tables as if hidden in excel , i cant see them

    - For some reason when I tested the scenario by creating a new table, it took around 30 minutes to appear in the Excel Dataverse loader.

    - Also, you need access to the object, at least read on user-level for the object you want to open.

    - The third option possible problem is to try publishing all customizations, although I think it is not the issue but it worth the try.

    If you already tried the three options, please tell me and we can think about another possible solution.

    Hi Hussein

    I am the admin so i have access to all tables

    The issue is that my tables are in a solution, i realised that if tables are in a solution am not able to see them when i try to connect in excel

    still am not able to see my tables, when i go to excel->data-> from power platform -> from dataverse

    Hi Chahine,

    That is not normal behavior, I tried to create a new table in an unmanaged solution and deployed a new managed solution and both appeared but after a while.

    Have you tried to clear cache for the excel connections?

    From "Get Data" menu -> Query Options -> From the left pane click on "Data Load" -> Clear Cache.

     

    Also, I tried to catch the power query http request by fiddler, but for some reason it didn't work although there is a documentation for it.

    Yes, when i cleared the cache it worked :), something strange here
